Each year I have been running one of the major marathon races in USA to accomplish my personal goals and also hope to inspire others to participate in such races to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. Beyond the joy of running a marathon and fulfilling my personal goals from a race, it is an incredible opportunity to highlight and raise awareness about some socioeconomic issues. This year, I have registered for Indianapolis Monumental Marathon in Indiana on November 9th 2024, in support of Naamghar Association of America (NAAM). NAAM has been actively engaged in promoting and celebrating the legacy of Srimanta Sankardeva and inspiring the current and future generations of the Assamese diaspora to explore and embrace his philosophy and contributions to the Assamese society. I am running this race with a small fundraising goal to be part of the journey- “Let’s Build a NAAMGHOR in the USA”. Your help and support for this cause will be immensely appreciated.
